Bridging Our Cultures

Two artists, two countries, one wall: Jasmine Oguns of Nigeria and John Kwame Eduafo of Ghana, side by side at Charlestown Gallery.

Bridging Our Cultures ran from July 13th until the 14th of August, 2026, with an opening reception on July 12th, 2026.Jasmine works in masks, terracotta, and bronze, pulling from Yoruba, Benin, and Igbo traditions. John Kwame (who also signs his work as Citizen Kwame) paints scenes out of Ghanaian life. Different countries, different materials, but the same instinct to look back at where you're from and to put it on a wall.
